Jeffrey Allerton MD

Dr. Jeffrey Allerton received his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from The
College of Saint Rose. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Allerton completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston,
followed by a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the same institution. He further specialized
in Medical Oncology with a fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Dana-Farber Cancer
Institute. Dr. Allerton is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a member of
several professional organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)
and the American Society of Hematology (ASH). His interests include hospice and palliative
medicine, medical education, and clinical trials in oncology.
